| Instructor Biography: Dorothy (Dottie) Pickering | |
| Dottie earned her bachelor’s degree in studio art from UCSB. She also took graduate art courses from Dvorjac and Hank Pitcher. Dottie is an artist who has been exhibiting throughout the Santa Barbara area for many years. She belongs to many art associations, and recently won the ‘Juror’s Choice Award’ from the Santa Barbara Art Association. She has been an art educator for 21 years at Continuing Education, teaching beginning, intermediate, and advanced oil painting. Dottie has sketched and painted in 25 countries. Her works are in many private collections throughout the US and in Europe. | |
