A Passage to Little India

ClassGraphic Join us on a day-long excursion to Artesia, the Little India neighborhood in Los Angeles, that has become the center of Indian and Pakistani culture. You’ll visit specially selected Indian and Pakistani businesses showcasing exciting food, fashion and traditions. Chef and teacher Farhana Sahibzada and delegates of those businesses will share their behind-the-scenes knowledge as well as cultural context and traditions in order to help you fully appreciate this emerging neighborhood treasure. Class includes a round-trip bus from Santa Barbara and meal expenses.
Narrative provided by your tour guide as well as from the delegates of the businesses visited.

Please read:  Students will meet outside the Schott auditorium (Padre Street entrance) and board the bus there. The field trip begins at 8:30 am and returns around 5:00 pm.
