ClassGraphic Class teaches how to recognize a wide variety of birds unique to the Santa Barbara area. Students visit local habitats, including beaches, sloughs, creeks and woodlands, to observe the birds and discuss their behavior, migration patterns and geographical distribution. Class emphasizes basic appreciation and identification of birds in the field. Transportation to field trip sites is not provided.
