ClassGraphic Chair yoga is a convenient and beneficial alternative to yoga on the floor. Working at your desk and need a stretch break?  (Ask your boss to give this once a week perk of a health-centered-hour to employees.)  Not comfortable getting-up and down from the floor?  Preparing or recuperating from surgery? Mayo Clinic Health System notes that chair yoga can provide benefits for chronic health conditions such as osteoarthritis, diabetes, depression, chronic back pain, high blood pressure and rheumatoid arthritis.  Come experience the revitalizing qualities of this special variation of yoga.

Please read:  This section in the Spring I term takes place in Wake 15. Straps and blocks will be supplied. Chair-based yoga is beneficial to those who have difficulty getting up from the floor, need to stretch/regenerate, find quiet for themselves and more.
