Fredda Spirka, LVN, LMT, holds a bachelor's degree from SUNY Buffalo in dance and physiology, and a nursing degree from SBCC. A founding member of the Santa Barbara Birth Resource Center, she has worked in the area of birth and new parenting for more than 25 years. Her experience as a labor assistant and family health consultant led her to establish prenatal/postpartum programs for many different venues. Currently, she teaches prenatal yoga and childbirth education classes for Continuing Education. Her main focus is educating mothers-to-be in issues related to pregnancy, birth, and holistic baby care.
