Cindy Ganesh was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, has spent most of her life in Colorado, originally attending Colorado State University. She lived in Saudi Arabia for eight months, during which time she vacationed in Singapore and Bali, Indonesia. Working with that many people was enlightening, and Cindy noticed the consistency of personality types and wondered why people do what they do. To answer that question, she went back to school. This time she attended Regis University in Denver, and obtained a B.S. in Applied Psychology. She was convinced to attend Pacifica Graduate Institute, and making a leap of faith, moved to California, where she obtained an M.A. in Counseling Psychology. Her Master's thesis was on Envy and Gossip in Relational Aggression (a particular kind of bullying). Since she began writing it, bullying has become an important topic in the United States, and she is working on a book from the research.
