Instructor Biography: Gail Eisen
Dr. Gail Eisen is a teacher, editor, and curriculum specialist, with research and teaching experience in the psychology of aging, life-span development, and communications analysis. A former Fulbright Senior Scholar, she has taught at UCLA, the University of Michigan, California State University, and universities in Kenya, Bulgaria, Egypt, Israel, and India. She has presented psychology of aging and cross-cultural training seminars for an array of Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations, university groups, medical conferences, and regional counseling agencies. Newspaper articles and interviews spotlighting her research and seminars have appeared in The Detroit News, Senior Spectrum, Senior World, The Arizona Republic, and overseas publications, as well as with AARP Radio in Washington, DC; National Public Radio, Station KIEV in Los Angeles, Station KZSB, Radio Sofia in Bulgaria, and Nile TV in Cairo. All of Gail's classes are infused with cross-cultural content and with dynamic opportunities for students to apply course concepts to their personal and professional lives.
