| Instructor Biography: Elizabeth (Lys Poet) Vereycken | |
| Lys Vereycken-Poet, originally from Belgium, has been a private chef in Santa Barbara for over 20 years. She specializes in creative international gourmet foods. Some of her clients have been Robert Zemeckis, Cher, Heidi Klum, Lois Capps, Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, the Dali Lama, etc. She has cooked as a traveling chef in Colorado, Wyoming, Aspen, and Europe. She also cooks for yoga retreats, writes a food column for a European newspaper and writes recipes for Teeccino, Nutiva and other food companies. Lys is currently writing several cookbooks and is a returning judge for the Chocolate De Vine event. She will share two of her favorite ingredients, chocolate and lemons, at the Center for Life Long Learning. Classes will be fun and inspiring! | |
